Dave Wyatt

Dave has been an avid collector and historian of objects from the World Wars for nearly three decades. His passion for this time period was sparked during his childhood by his Great Uncle Cleo, who was a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne during the Second World War. In his late teens, Dave began to buy and sell relics to further grow his collection. With the knowledge and expertise Dave gathered over the last 25+ years, he now confidently, but humbly, offers items he finds on our website “Empires Past”. Over the years, Dave has contributed to reference books, online databases, consulting for Auction Houses, and has been interviewed on multiple occasions to share his knowledge on the extensive and continuous study of this subject that is required to properly authenticate.

It’s no secret that I have had a passion for the history of the Second World War nearly all my life. I feel truly blessed to have the support and help I’ve had over the many years I have been in this hobby. Amanda can be seen running the tables at the shows. She also manages the social media side of Empires Past, as well as all the behind-the-scenes business operations. She enjoys interacting with people from around the globe and loves it when she’s able to finally meet them face to face.
